Satan's Pilgrims- Formed in 1992 in Portland, OR, their first formal release, “Haunted House of Rock” ep on Estrus Records, gained attention right away at the beginning of the 90’s “third wave” of surf music, before Pulp Fiction was even released and really brought surf back to prominence.
With their three guitar attack, relentless rhythm section, and vampire capes, the Pilgrims became one of the most influential surf instrumental bands around, combining the Southern California surf sound with Pacific Northwest garage and other musical influences from 1960-67. All in a spirit of upbeat fun, the dance floor is always full!
In 2021, they lost founding member guitarist and keyboardist Dave Pilgrim. His last recordings were in process, and they treasure having more music, that features Dave, to share after his passing. In 2022, the Pilgrims were lucky enough to have their friend and fellow 90s spooky surf veteran, Garret Immel (Ghastly Ones, Venturesmania) join as the 3rd guitarist, and in 2022, Satan's Pilgrims were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Later that year, a project started back in 1996 was finally completed-the collaboration of Pink Martini's pianist, Thomas Lauderdale and the band, with the release of "Thomas Lauderdale Meets The Pilgrims" on Heinz Records. The success of this album led to extensive touring with Thomas and Pink Martini, culminating with two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in August of 2024.
More and more of the world is catching on to what some have known for over 30 years. That is, if you want a surfy, spooky, garage-stompin' good time, put on Satan's Pilgrims.

Deke Dickerson’s newest band venture is Deke Dickerson and the Whippersnappers. Dickerson is a veteran of the Southern California roots music scene and has toured for years with various bands, including the Dave and Deke Combo and Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-Fonics. His former band members have gone on to play with Social Distortion, X, Tiger Army, and Los Straitjackets.
The Whippersnappers are an energetic backing band of younger musicians from Los Angeles: Bert Avalos on guitar, Zander Griffith on bass, and Dylan Patterson on drums. With Dickerson’s experience entertaining audiences worldwide and the Whippersnappers’ shot in the arm of rockabilly excitement, the band has been thrilling fans all over the United States (playing such festivals as Viva Las Vegas and touring the East and West Coasts) and Europe (at festivals like the Rockabilly Rave in England and the Rockin’ Race Jamboree in Spain).
The band released their debut album, Honky Tonkin’ Rhythm, in 2023 on Major Label Records and have been touring behind it since.
